WHAT KIND OF EXPERIENCE DO YOU HAVE IN IT?
I’ve been working in the industry for more than 20 years and, of course, in that time I’ve seen so many changes. I’ve worked in corporate settings, on help desks, and in residential repairs, as well as having run my own business before. This combined experience, along with now running IT-Pro, means I have detailed first-hand experience of the unique challenges that smaller companies face. I’m keen to help them avoid the headaches and pitfalls that poor-performing IT can bring.
WHAT MADE YOU DECIDE TO START IT-PRO?
I’ve seen first-hand the issues that small businesses often have in getting the attention and tailored service they really need, and how frustrating that can be for them. They often feel like they’re left hanging for long periods and often ignored by large IT suppliers. With the amount of experience I have in the industry, I just really wanted to help them, and knew I was in a good position to do so. Smaller businesses need a more personal, one-to-one service, where someone spends the time to really get to know them and their business, but also has the in-depth and wide-ranging technical expertise to provide the practical solutions they need.
WHAT KIND OF SERVICES DO YOU PROVIDE?
No one should worry that their issues aren’t big enough to warrant calling in an expert. With that in mind I started IT-Pro so that no problem would be too small. I’m there for the big stuff, like updating your entire system or sourcing new equipment, but I’m also there for the smaller stuff, like setting up new email addresses or installing printers etc. It’s all about freeing up your time so you can focus on running your business while knowing your IT is in safe hands.
